MOTIONPLUSDESIGN NY TITLES 2026

We had the absolute pleasure of creating the opening titles for the Motion Plus Design festival, taking place in New York on September 26, 2026.
Inspired primarily by the urban atmosphere of a postmodern metropolis like New York, we envisioned a series of distinct worlds, rendered through a stark black-and-white, film-noir aesthetic.
We integrated various elements of local culture as expressed through diverse American artists, transforming the city’s most iconic public transit modes into paradoxical, surreal experiences to heighten the visual intrigue.

We then crafted a dynamic edit featuring continuous shifts in tempo and rhythm. Paired with a tailored soundtrack and sound design, the audio narrative breathes life into every frame, evoking deep emotion and keeping the audience glued to their seats, from start to finish. For us, storytelling is paramount, even within a work that may appear paradoxical; at its core lies a deeply rooted meaning open to multiple objective interpretations.
